The story behind In the Time of Journeys
For five years, I had the privilege of performing and touring with the Bible Women's Project, bringing the stories of more than 50 women in Scripture to churches across the United States and Canada.
After performances, women would gather to talk. They reflected on the stories they had heard, shared pieces of their own, and often asked the same question:
“Now what?”
In the Time of Journeys grew from that question.
The stage created a place to encounter these women. This book creates a place to keep listening. Through Scripture, reflection, personal testimony, and conversation, their stories leave the stage and enter our everyday lives.
